Zachery Britton was a student at Oral Roberts University suffering from depression, suicidal tendencies, and sexual issues including an obsession with pornography when he joined Harmony Worship Center Church in the Fall of 1997. Zachery shared that he had a distant relationship with his parents and would often tell church members that he hated his parents. He claimed that they treated him more like a business associate than a son. Perhaps this is the reason he has physically attacked both the pastors and his own wife Tammy on more than one occasion. By virtue of his persistant apologies, he was unfortunately allowed to remain in the church. Zachery secretly battled with sexual problems over the course of his five year membership at HWCC. Church leaders counseled with Zachery regarding marital issues but never saw any real change in this young man. Toward the end of that time, Zachery's obssession escalated to following young girls in an area mall, watching hard core pornography involving gang rape and orgies, masturbating in his car outside his job at Jim Norton Toyota, and watching movies with strong sexual content on his wife's job without her knowledge in order to be sexually stimulated. To make matters worse he even visited a local high school to "feel young again". After this confession church leaders asked Zachery to leave the church in February, 2003 when it became clear that he was unwilling to end his sexual deviances. Although the leaders of HWCC contacted the local mall security after his confession no action was taken. Now facing a divorce and custody battle, Zachery has stopped at nothing to not only lie against his wife, but to also destroy the church he vowed to protect and serve.
